Responsibilities
- Provide on-call support for the Unisys 2200 application platform as part of a rotating team to ensure continuous coverage and team well-being.
- Adhere to client-established protocols for managing incidents, change requests, testing cycles, and production deployments.
- Monitor mainframe database operations to maintain data accuracy and system reliability.
- Evaluate and categorize incidents to determine whether they stem from system software or application-level issues.
- Apply approved fixes and work within formal change management processes to deploy solutions promptly.
- Support the development and enhancement of technical documentation and organizational knowledge resources.
- Inform leadership about emerging technology trends and their potential effects on the application infrastructure.
