FS Energieberater GmbH is hiring a UI/UX Designer to pioneer communication-driven experiences for AI agents and location-based augmented reality. You will define how real-time AI agents 'speak' visually and spatially, blending digital and physical elements for seamless user interaction. Join our creative team to build the next generation of intelligent, spatially aware interfaces.
What You'll Do
- Design multimodal communication experiences spanning 2D UI, spatial layouts, and embodied AI agent interactions.
- Develop voice, tone, timing, and pacing guidelines for AI agents that reflect brand, audience, and spatial context.
- Execute client- and project-driven experiences that are functionally and aesthetically excellent.
- Prototype from initial concepts to polished Figma prototypes or interactive flows built in Unity or Vue.
- Contribute to an internal design language for AI+AR, including layout principles, icon systems, and spatial behavior logic.
- Develop iconography, visual metaphors, and spatial gestures that communicate complex actions intuitively.
- Collaborate with Unity, web, and backend developers to implement pixel-perfect, spatially aware interfaces.
- Design intuitive feedback loops so users feel guided, not overwhelmed, by intelligent systems.
- Occasionally implement or polish frontend features.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience with shipped AR applications, specifically location-based, mobile-first apps blending real-world navigation with immersive storytelling.
- 1+ years designing for AI agents such as voicebots, avatars, or conversational interfaces with visual expression.
- 3+ years designing SaaS platforms, including dashboards, data visualization, user roles, and scalable design systems.
- Deep expertise in communication design principles: visual hierarchy, information pacing, tone of voice, and semiotics.
- A strong portfolio showcasing shipped digital products, ideally featuring multimodal or cross-platform experiences.
- Proficiency in prototyping with Unity or Figma to build and test interactive spatial UI flows.
- Ability to think in systems, creating style guides, motion languages, visual grammars, and interaction rulesets.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Berlin's creative tech scene through journalism, games, education, or media.
- Native German language skills paired with fluent English.
