Merkle (Dentsu) is looking for a UI Developer to build clean, user-friendly, and scalable interfaces for AI-driven applications. You will transform complex AI-driven capabilities into intuitive experiences, collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and AI engineers to prototype, develop, and refine UI components.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and optimize web-based user interfaces for AI-driven applications and platforms.
Work closely with UX designers to translate wireframes and design concepts into responsive, production-ready code.
Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to connect UI components with APIs and data pipelines.
Use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate prototyping, automate tasks, and generate boilerplate code.
Apply AI tools to refactor, debug, and optimize code, while ensuring maintainability.
Evaluate and adopt emerging AI-driven developer tools to improve team workflows.
Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
Experiment with modern UI frameworks and visualization tools to enhance user experiences for AI-driven insights.
Write clean, reusable code with strong testing practices to ensure stability and reliability across devices.
Contribute to design systems, component libraries, and UI development best practices within the global team.

What We're Looking For

3–5 years of front-end or UI development experience.
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
Strong experience with React (preferred) or other modern frameworks (Next.js, Vue, Angular).
Familiarity with TypeScript and state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.).
Experience integrating with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Tabnine, Codeium) in day-to-day development.
Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code, ensuring accuracy, security, and scalability.
Familiarity with prompt engineering for developer tools to maximize output quality.
Ability to collaborate with UX/UI designers and maintain pixel-perfect implementations.
Experience with Git, modern build tools (Webpack, Vite), and collaboration platforms (JIRA, Confluence, Figma).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating seamless user experiences.

Nice to Have

Experience ideally within product development, AI, or data-rich applications.
Knowledge of visualization libraries (D3.js, Recharts, or similar).
