Responsibilities
- Independently prepare meals according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Carry out food preparation and processing tasks with a strong focus on hygiene and food safety.
- Apply various cutting techniques and cooking methods to prepare dishes professionally.
- Ensure efficient meal preparation, including plating and presentation.
- Comply with all applicable food safety and hygiene regulations during daily operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
- Contribute ideas regarding menu development, menu changes, and preparation methods.
- Manage inventory and ordering processes.
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to kitchen assistants.
Requirements
- MBO Level 3 Chef Diploma or MBO Level 3 working and thinking level (or EU equivalent)
- Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
- Service-oriented and flexible, including availability on weekends and public holidays.
- Passion for cooking, creativity, and attention to detail.
