MLabs is hiring a Trust & Compliance Officer to join a team building the foundational wallet infrastructure for the next financial era. You will manage security frameworks and global regulatory requirements, ensuring the highest standards of trust, resilience, and compliance.
What You'll Do
- Manage compliance programs across multiple security frameworks such as NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 22310, and CCSS Level 3.
- Monitor global regulatory requirements including DORA, FISMA, MiCA, and BVLA and ensure the organization is ready for adherence.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, certifications, and assessments.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation required to meet compliance obligations.
- Partner closely with the product team to integrate compliance into architecture, operations, and feature development.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, regulators, and auditors on all compliance matters.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend tangible improvements to our security and trust posture.
- Deliver internal training and promote a culture of security and compliance across the organization.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in compliance, information security, and/or risk in the finance sector.
- Hands-on experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Strong understanding of global regulatory regimes, including digital asset frameworks like MiCA and GENIUS.
- Proven success leading audits, managing certifications, and confidently interacting with regulators.
- Familiarity with PKI, cloud infrastructure, and secure software development practices.
- Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and regulatory requirements into clear business actions.
Nice to Have
- Holds industry certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or ISO Lead Auditor.
Team & Environment
You will be reporting directly to the CISO.

- Salary range: €80,000–€140,000 per year (full-time).
