MasTec Utility Services is hiring a Training Specialist to support the design, development, and execution of specialized training programs for our field and operations employees, including linemen, foremen, and operators. You will collaborate with personnel across various departments to build effective learning experiences that empower our teams.
What You'll Do
- Develop new learning activities and course content to engage employees and promote knowledge acquisition and retention.
- Utilize various media and learning methods to create and revise training programs.
- Deliver training to MasTec employees directly.
- Generate and publish training completion reports for compliance and management awareness.
- Evaluate training programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in developing and updating course rosters and inputting training completion data in the Learning Management System.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Training, Communications, or a relevant field of experience.
- Direct field experience in, or closely related to, the training to be delivered.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of visual design tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
Nice to Have
- 3 or more years of experience developing and conducting employee training.
- Previous experience with Learning Management Systems.
