MasTec Inc seeks a Training Specialist to support the design, development, and execution of specialized training for our field and operations employees, such as linemen, foremen, and operators. You will partner with various departments to ensure our workforce is skilled, safe, and effective.
What You'll Do
- Develop new learning activities and course content to engage employees and promote knowledge acquisition.
- Utilize various media and learning methods to create and revise training programs.
- Deliver training directly to MasTec employees.
- Generate and publish training completion reports for compliance and management awareness.
- Evaluate training programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in updating course rosters and inputting training completion data into the Learning Management System.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Training, Communications, or a relevant field of experience.
- Field experience in or closely related to the training to be delivered.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of visual design tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
Nice to Have
- 3 or more years of experience developing and conducting employee training.
- Previous experience with Learning Management Systems.
