ActioNet, Inc. is hiring a Tier 2 - Mid-Level Desk Side Support - IT Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Deliver intermediate-level in-person and remote technical support for desktop systems, connected devices, and network access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced problems related to Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Azure Virtual Desktop performance, SCCM client status, BitLocker recovery, and Intune-managed endpoints.
  • Conduct system imaging, software patching, and configuration management using SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
  • Administer user accounts, access rights, and group policy settings within Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments.
  • Coordinate with higher-tier support and infrastructure teams for issue escalation and in-depth diagnostics.
  • Carry out administrative and clerical duties to assist daily IT operations and project execution.
  • Organize and maintain technical records, project documents, and reports in both digital and physical formats.
  • Plan and manage meeting schedules, develop agendas, and document minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare and revise correspondence, project summaries, and technical documents from notes or verbal input.
  • Develop and manage spreadsheets for financial planning, expense tracking, and project progress reporting.
  • Oversee office calendars, meeting logistics, and travel coordination for IT staff.
  • Support data entry, record keeping, and documentation tasks related to IT operations.
  • Track and monitor IT equipment inventory and assist with procurement documentation.
  • Enforce adherence to IT security policies, standards, and compliance procedures.
  • Guide and train junior technical and administrative staff as needed.
  • Handle classified or sensitive materials with precision and confidentiality.
  • Provide technical and administrative support using word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Assist in refining administrative procedures and technical support workflows for improved efficiency.
