About the Role
Lead the testing strategy and execution for IVR and web-based applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage, defect identification, and resolution to maintain high-quality standards across the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test plans and strategies for IVR and web platforms
- Lead a team of QA engineers in executing test cases and reporting results
- Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the development cycle
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability and early issue detection
- Design and maintain automated test scripts for regression and functional testing
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements
- Conduct root cause analysis on critical defects and recommend improvements
- Manage test environments and coordinate access for testing activities
- Validate system integrations between IVR and backend web services
- Monitor testing progress and report status to stakeholders
- Establish best practices for test case design and defect management
- Perform risk-based testing to prioritize high-impact areas
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines with automated checks
- Review requirements and technical specifications for testability
- Lead test case reviews and ensure traceability to requirements
- Oversee performance and load testing for scalable systems
- Ensure accessibility and usability standards are met
- Coordinate UAT support and facilitate user feedback collection
- Maintain version control for test assets and documentation
- Drive quality metrics and reporting for process improvement
- Mentor junior QA staff and promote skill development
- Evaluate third-party tools and frameworks for testing efficiency
- Ensure data integrity and security in test scenarios
- Work closely with product owners to align testing with business goals
- Promote a culture of quality across the development lifecycle
Nice to Have
- Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or similar credential
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments
- Background in telecom infrastructure or call center systems
- Knowledge of voice application testing protocols
- Familiarity with robotic process automation (RPA) testing
