Gainwell Technologies, a provider of public health services and solutions, is hiring a Test Lead to guide large teams on complex application testing projects for healthcare technology. You will tackle significant functional and technical challenges, contribute to product development, and ensure systems meet business objectives—all within a context that does not involve sensitive health information.
What You'll Do
- Lead large local or global teams on complex application testing projects involving heavy customization.
- Define test cases and write test scripts from business requirements to confirm system objectives are met.
- Research, apply, and share information on quality assurance tools, techniques, and market trends.
- Provide input to project estimates during sales cycles and help develop project documentation.
- Participate in creating new testing tools, knowledge products, and standards.
- Assist professional services and sales teams in understanding software product functions.
- Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 8 years of extensive hands-on experience with Manual Testing concepts.
- Extensive experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Retesting, Smoke Testing, and Risk-based Testing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Selenium Java Automation.
- Good hands-on experience with Test Case Design Techniques.
- Good hands-on knowledge of test management tools like Azure DevOps (TFS).
- Basic hands-on knowledge of Web Service Testing using tools like Soap UI and Postman.
- Basic hands-on knowledge of SQL Database Testing.
- Strong team player skills: team collaboration, clear communication with diverse groups, and innovation.
Nice to Have
- Working experience in Accessibility Testing (508 Compliance) using Wave, NVDA, or AXE tools.
- Working experience with Agile methodology and Sprint iterations.
- Working experience in the Healthcare insurance domain.
- Experience testing claims processes in US healthcare; familiarity with claims workflows and validation logic.
