About the Role
The role involves designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to verify software functionality and reliability across various projects. Candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues and support continuous improvement in testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test plans and test cases based on technical and functional requirements
- Execute manual and automated test procedures for software applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue management tools
- Collaborate with developers and project teams to resolve identified issues
- Validate bug fixes and ensure proper regression testing
- Participate in requirement analysis to assess testability and coverage
- Support test environment setup and configuration
- Conduct functional, integration, and system testing
- Ensure compliance with defined quality standards and testing methodologies
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools
- Work within agile project teams on client-facing assignments
- Report test progress and results to stakeholders
- Assist in defining test automation strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing best practices
- Adapt testing approaches based on project scope and timelines
- Perform risk-based testing when needed
- Support user acceptance testing coordination
- Validate data integrity and system behavior under various conditions
- Ensure non-functional requirements are tested where applicable
- Communicate testing status during project lifecycle
Nice to Have
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or similar
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of performance or security testing concepts
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
