Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test solutions in collaboration with software developers, analysts, and functional testers.
- Design and execute automated testing strategies across middleware, API, and data integration layers.
- Build and maintain scalable Selenium-based automation frameworks using Java and TestNG.
- Perform API automation testing using tools such as RestAssured, Karate, ReadyAPI, and SoapUI.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and data validation testing activities.
- Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and improve testing efficiency.
- Support CI/CD pipeline automation and testing activities within Agile and DevSecOps environments.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, SQL, AWS services, and automation frameworks to support testing efforts.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and testing best practices.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium automation frameworks using Java and TestNG.
- Recent experience writing, debugging, and maintaining Java-based automation scripts.
- Experience with API automation testing using RestAssured, Karate, ReadyAPI, or SoapUI.
- Experience testing middleware, REST APIs, backend services, and AWS-based applications.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Agile, and DevSecOps testing practices.
- Experience with SQL/data validation and tools such as JIRA and Section 508 testing tools.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), healthcare systems, or EHR integrations preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, and related technologies is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
