About the Role
The position involves identifying and acquiring new customers while expanding business with existing accounts in fermentation sectors. The candidate will promote process gas analysis instrumentation through consultative selling and technical support.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in fermentation and bioprocessing industries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for potential customers
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate solution specifications
- Develop sales forecasts and provide input for regional revenue planning
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fermentation process requirements
- Support customer inquiries related to gas analysis instrumentation performance
- Coordinate with application specialists for on-site customer visits
- Track and report sales activities using CRM tools
- Attend industry events and trade shows to generate leads
- Provide feedback from customers to product development teams
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead to close
- Prepare quotations and proposals tailored to client needs
- Follow up on post-sale implementation and customer satisfaction
