Responsibilities
- Clean, sand, mask, grind, and perform minor repairs on surfaces prior to painting
- Paint and perform touch-ups on structural components such as beams, racks, cranes, and supports
- Apply fresh paint layers to heavy machinery including forklifts and material-handling equipment
- Adhere to specified paint standards, safety protocols, and facility guidelines
- Accurately complete and submit required paint-related reports and records
- Operate independently with minimal oversight in active shop and construction environments with forklift activity
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with supervisors and team members
