About the Role
This position involves providing technical support for animatronic displays by performing installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs in field locations. Technicians will respond to service requests and ensure systems operate safely and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install animatronic figures at designated locations
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on robotic systems
- Repair malfunctioning components in animatronic units
- Test system functionality after service interventions
- Follow safety protocols during field operations
- Document service activities and outcomes
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
- Collaborate with team members on complex installations
- Transport equipment and tools to job sites
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Calibrate motion and audio systems
- Ensure compliance with operational standards
- Troubleshoot control system software issues
- Maintain inventory of spare parts
- Adhere to scheduled service timelines
- Work in various environmental conditions
- Communicate technical issues to supervisors
- Follow manufacturer guidelines for repairs
- Support seasonal display setups and takedowns
Compensation
Hourly pay rate commensurate with experience
