As a Telemetry Field Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable performance of industrial lift truck systems through testing, commissioning, and ongoing technical support. This position operates in both manufacturing facilities and customer locations, requiring adaptability and precision in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct system testing, calibration, and safety checks in factory settings prior to customer delivery.
- Deploy and validate systems on-site, including wireless communication assessments and configuration adjustments.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving electrical, mechanical, software, and network components.
- Assist in customer acceptance processes during factory and field milestones.
- Produce clear technical documentation and provide practical training to operators and support teams.
- Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure timely and safe system implementation.
- At higher levels, lead field operations, supervise junior engineers, and serve as the primary technical contact for customers.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical and control systems in dynamic environments.
- Skill in interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system manuals.
- Familiarity with Windows-based platforms, device setup, and fundamental networking principles.
- Experience in system validation, calibration, and field testing procedures.
- Strong communication skills, with a focus on clarity when working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Capable of independent work while maintaining a collaborative, safety-first mindset.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in fast-changing conditions.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%, including time at customer facilities across various locations.

Work Environment
