About the Role

The UPS Store, Inc. is seeking a Technology Support Associate to provide critical support services for our corporate standard technology products. In this remote role, you will be the key point of contact for installing, deploying, and upgrading software, hardware, and network facilities to ensure smooth operations.

What You'll Do

  • Provide users with support services for corporate standard technology products.
  • Conduct hardware and software planning and provide technical advice and informal training to customers.
  • Organize and coordinate activities for installing, deploying, and upgrading software, hardware, and network facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and restore routine technical service and resolve equipment problems using established processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with staff to deploy standardized support practices and procedures.
  • Coordinate implementations and facilitate activities to support programs and projects.
  • Manage, plan, and administer installation and decommissioning activities to expedite initiatives.
  • Draft and maintain policy, standards, and procedures to document processes.
  • Manage team training to optimize resources.
  • Manage and maintain customer relationships to track and measure service levels.
  • Collaborate with Information Systems technology providers and vendors to ensure services are consistent and meet expectations.
  • Support long-term planning to ensure future service level expectations are met.
  • Perform basic installations to provide system upgrades.
  • Inspect installations to ensure optimal operation.
  • Document and report completed work to meet departmental requirements.
  • Install and configure standard technology products to complete customers’ work orders utilizing approved tools and following defined practices.
  • Apply basic systems testing to verify with user groups that installations are operating effectively.
  • Receive and complete requests for support and services to ensure compliance with procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) – Computer Science or a related field.
  • A+ Certification.
  • Experience with Networking Technology.
