Responsibilities

  • Evaluate data on new and emerging technologies to detect market trends and assess policy impacts.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysis Support initiatives as a specialist in technology market analysis, focusing on electric vehicles, solar, wind, and next-generation energy systems.
  • Conduct public comment reviews and deliver data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting, report creation, data tracking tools, workforce policy assessment, and energy market economic and regulatory analysis for the Department of Energy's Office of Policy.
  • Support mission goals related to renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear power, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure.
  • Carry out core responsibilities including creating in-depth analyses, advancing key initiatives, and maintaining alignment with project goals.
  • Execute advanced data aggregation, analysis, and visualization to guide energy-related policies and strategic decision-making.

  • Analyzes data on emerging technologies to identify market trends and policy implications.
  • Align with Data Analysis Support Functional Area initiatives as a Technology Market Analyst that Specializes in analyzing technology markets, including EV sales, solar, wind, and emerging energy technologies.
  • Provide Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP).
  • These services enable mission objectives involved with renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies.
  • Technology Market Analyst is responsible for key functions such as developing analyses, supporting initiatives, and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Perform complex data aggregation, analysis, and visualization to inform energy policies and strategies.
