About the Role
The Electrical/PCBA Technician will assist in building, testing, and validating electronic components and circuit boards. The role supports engineering teams in ensuring hardware meets design and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and inspect printed circuit board assemblies according to specifications
- Perform manual soldering and rework on surface mount and through-hole components
- Conduct functional and continuity testing of electronic assemblies
- Support engineering teams during prototype development and debugging
- Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
- Document test results and assembly processes accurately
- Identify and report defects or inconsistencies in hardware builds
- Follow engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues in circuit boards and systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Handle electrostatic discharge-sensitive components with proper protocols
- Support production scalability by refining assembly methods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design improvements
- Participate in root cause analysis for hardware failures
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Work with inventory and materials to track build components
- Prepare test setups for validation and environmental testing
- Assist in the creation of assembly guides and work instructions
- Handle small parts and tools with precision and care
- Adapt quickly to changes in project priorities and timelines

Security Requirements
