Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain internal tools with Laravel and Laravel Nova to boost Customer Support team efficiency.
- Develop Laravel endpoints and functionality for AI support tools like Intercom Fin to better address customer needs through actual coding.
- Create systems and automated workflows that affect multiple teams.
- Write and update technical documentation and help articles to enable self-service for customers and support staff.
- Work with customers and internal teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues requiring critical thinking and investigation.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities for tooling and automation improvements.
Requirements
- Product engineering experience with PHP and Laravel, including building and maintaining systems used by others, whether through employment, side projects, or similar.
- Proven critical thinking and troubleshooting skills for complex issues that are not immediately obvious.
- Genuine willingness and eagerness to learn, despite the scale and complexity of existing systems.
- Exceptional written communication skills, essential for a remote-first, fully distributed company where Slack and Notion are primary tools.
- Strong technical communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Customer-centric mindset and passion for building tools that help teams deliver better user experiences.
