Responsibilities
- Organize and manage daily on-site activities in coordination with contractors, vendors, and internal project teams
- Oversee mechanical and electrical setup, assembly, and readiness for commissioning
- Maintain accurate records of site documentation, material deliveries, and inventory
- Ensure all field operations comply with safety regulations and technical specifications (EHS)
- Assist in commissioning processes and client handover procedures
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for all site-related issues
- Plan and allocate resources to ensure timely execution of project milestones
- Arrange for necessary site equipment including lifting tools, platforms, scaffolding, tools, and consumables like oil, urea, and coolant
- Verify site readiness for installation, including access routes, storage conditions, foundation quality, and precise positioning measurements
- Supervise engine placement and alignment, including final internal piping and electrical connections
- Monitor subcontractors to ensure work is performed professionally, on schedule, and in line with contractual obligations
- Ensure plant systems and components are properly prepared for commissioning, including cleaning, leak testing, and pressure testing
- Coordinate commissioning activities, including customer meetings, in collaboration with the commissioning team
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or electrical
- Understanding of commercial and business operations
- Proven experience in managing on-site power plant projects, including materials logistics
- Results-driven mindset
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication skills across field teams and management levels
- Fluent in English and native proficiency in Romanian, both written and spoken
- Skilled in negotiation
- Team-oriented with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Self-motivated and capable of independent work
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 90% of the time
