Responsibilities
- Design and execute asset management strategies for GPU servers, networking gear, and data center infrastructure across international sites
- Manage the entire lifecycle of hardware assets, from acquisition to deployment, servicing, repair handling, and retirement
- Build inventory tracking systems and predictive models to forecast hardware refresh timelines
- Lead initiatives across teams to improve asset usage efficiency and lower overall ownership costs
- Handle asset depreciation tracking, financial forecasting, and justification for hardware spending
- Negotiate vendor agreements and define service level expectations for deployment, maintenance, and disposal services
- Supervise warehouse functions, stock control, and full logistics operations including receiving, inspection, assembly, shipping, customs, and global freight
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to enhance shipping efficiency, reduce transit duration, and maintain inventory precision
- Create end-to-end return merchandise authorization workflows, manage warranty claims, and oversee repair center activities
- Monitor hardware failure trends, mean time to repair, and processing speed to guide purchasing and supplier choices
- Develop secure decommissioning and data erasure procedures aligned with GDPR, CCPA, and internal security standards
- Coordinate the physical destruction of storage media, retain destruction certificates, and manage relationships with e-waste recyclers
- Implement environmentally responsible disposal and recycling programs compliant with WEEE and RoHS regulations
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards and maintain thorough documentation for all asset-related activities
