Cayuse is hiring a Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete migration initiative, including sequencing, milestone planning, cohort strategy, risk oversight, and success metrics across all customer groups and product offerings.
  • Develop and manage a detailed migration schedule using a prioritization model based on customer characteristics.
  • Create a standardized, scalable migration framework that reduces effort per customer over time and supports organizational growth.
  • Maintain a comprehensive migration runbook covering tooling needs, data validation, cutover steps, rollback plans, and customer communication templates.
  • Monitor program performance using clear KPIs and proactively escalate tradeoffs to senior leaders.
  • Serve as the accountable owner for migration timelines and results.
  • Promote the use of AI-driven tools within the team, offering direct support to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
  • Align R&D, Product Management, and Professional Services teams around migration goals without formal authority.
  • Work with engineering to oversee the full lifecycle of migration plans, ensuring cross-team coordination and on-time execution.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to build runbooks, test approaches, and automated pipelines for provisioning, migration, and decommissioning.
  • Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to identify dependencies, remove obstacles, and sustain delivery pace.
  • Partner with Product to ensure migration paths align with technical roadmaps and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services to ensure migration processes are executable and scalable in real-world operations.
  • Present migration program status to executives and board-level stakeholders as needed.
  • Coordinate with Customer Success to manage customer sequencing, readiness, and communications during migration windows.
  • Set quality standards and acceptance criteria for each cohort, including go/no-go decision points and validation steps.
  • Reduce customer impact through thorough pre-migration checks, rollback capabilities, and post-migration support procedures.
  • Capture and document learnings after each cohort to refine and improve the migration playbook.
  • Continuously enhance migration workflows and tooling to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and shorten cycle times.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that track migration speed, cohort progress, risk levels, and customer outcomes.
  • Generate regular reports for R&D, Product, Services, and leadership teams.
  • Conduct on-demand analysis to uncover risks, capacity limits, and acceleration opportunities within the migration program.
