Brainstack is hiring a Technical Product Manager for our Billing Team. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating team work, managing the technical backlog, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on driving initiatives related to our billing platform and maintaining high-quality technical documentation.
What You'll Do
- Plan and coordinate team work by managing the technical backlog and prioritizing tasks.
- Align business requirements, decompose tasks, and provide high-level cost estimates for initiatives.
- Formulate tactical implementation plans and control progress according to the quarterly roadmap.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding task status, releases, difficulties, and dependencies.
- Prepare and distribute release notes.
- Conduct Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Pre-grooming, Refinement, Sprint Planning, and Quarterly Reviews.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including service descriptions, billing mechanics, API endpoints, database schemas, inter-service interactions, and technology stack details.
What We're Looking For
- A solid understanding of billing processes: authorization, charges, refunds, subscriptions, and retries.
- The ability to read API specifications, work with logs in ELK, and use Postman.
- Basic skills working with MySQL databases.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and business teams.
- Proven experience organizing team work in Scrum or Kanban formats.
- A systematic thinker who pays attention to detail and proactively seeks solutions.
