Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction for core components of the clinical data repository platform, including data ingestion, quality management, storage architecture, and administrative tools.
- Work closely with engineering teams to conduct technical assessments identifying gaps in interoperability, system performance, scalability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Convert system architecture and operational requirements into precise, executable product specifications.
- Engage in architectural and code reviews to assess the viability, scalability, and long-term maintainability of proposed solutions.
- Maintain strong technical expertise in the technology stack, including Java, HAPI FHIR, Kubernetes, Postgres, and Kafka, to inform decision-making and prioritization.
- Advocate for robust data quality features such as deduplication, enrichment, and lifecycle controls across data processing workflows.
- Support agile delivery by refining backlogs and providing technical and architectural guidance throughout development cycles.
- Contribute to design and architecture discussions to ensure solutions are secure, feasible, and aligned with agile principles and platform vision.
- Take part in technical planning sessions to evaluate the practicality and sustainability of system designs.
- Partner with multidisciplinary technical teams to execute the product roadmap with high accuracy.
- Assist teams in creating product communications, sales materials, training content, and demonstrations for internal and external audiences.
- Perform competitive analysis to identify strengths and unique aspects of platform functionalities.
- Promote product features internally and externally by leading customer discussions and presenting at industry events.
- Guide technical customer engagements to validate platform direction and clarify capabilities.
- Ensure platform components are well-documented, version-controlled, and accessible to development teams.
- Act as a technical liaison to resolve blockers, balancing client needs with system architecture and operational constraints.
- Ensure accurate daily or weekly logging of work hours in Netsuite, with most hours classified as billable.
- Recognize time tracking and reporting as a key responsibility in project delivery and customer accountability.
- Adhere to all organizational policies regarding privacy, security, and data confidentiality.
- Safeguard sensitive information, using it solely for job-related purposes and refraining from unauthorized disclosure or use, with violations subject to disciplinary action including termination.
