Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in technical analysis or product analysis within software, storage, platform, or cloud technologies
- Strong knowledge of software-defined storage, object storage (e.g. Amazon S3, Amazon Glacier, Azure Blob Storage), encryption, and retention/lifecycle management in enterprise or SaaS environments
- Hands-on understanding of modern software-defined storage architectures, including object storage, block storage, deduplication systems, Apache Iceberg, and storage metadata concepts
- Strong understanding of REST API design (authentication, versioning, usability, consistency)
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including permissions, roles, and access policies
- Understanding of ransomware and malware detection approaches applicable to storage and backup solutions
- Strong analytical thinking and structured reasoning with the ability to make and defend technical recommendations
- Ability to build and use virtualization labs (e.g. VMware) to investigate system behavior independently
Nice to Have
- Understanding of SaaS release processes and how they differ from on-premises enterprise releases
- Familiarity with Veeam products or related backup and recovery technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience
