Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, negotiate, and acquire IT hardware, high-performance and GPU computing systems, enterprise software, datacentre facilities, colocation solutions, cloud platforms, and associated professional services.
- Assist in the procurement and deployment of advanced computing infrastructure projects, covering compute resources, GPU clusters, storage systems, networking, power distribution, cooling systems, datacentre capacity, and exchange connectivity needs.
- Lead formal sourcing initiatives, including requests for information, requests for proposals, vendor assessments, commercial discussions, contract evaluations, purchase authorizations, and transition coordination.
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to analyze technical alternatives, vendor development plans, product availability, delivery timelines, support frameworks, deployment challenges, and full lifecycle costs.
- Oversee relationships with suppliers, including original equipment manufacturers, resellers, datacentre operators, network providers, software developers, cloud platforms, market data vendors, and consulting firms.
- Provide support in technical project coordination and execution across datacentre operations, exchange connectivity, data management, networking, and infrastructure services.
- Oversee the lifecycle of hardware and enterprise software assets, including renewal scheduling, maintenance agreements, support contracts, usage tracking, refresh planning, and decommissioning processes.
- Perform cost validation, spending reviews, budget monitoring, vendor performance reporting, and financial data management.
- Enhance procurement methodologies, documentation standards, governance practices, and cross-functional workflows.
