About the Role

The instructor will lead immersive technical training programs in cybersecurity, guiding students through practical curriculum and real-world applications to prepare them for certification and employment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured instruction in cybersecurity concepts and tools
  • Design and update course materials aligned with current industry standards
  • Facilitate hands-on labs and simulations for skill development
  • Assess student progress through assignments and performance evaluations
  • Provide individualized feedback to support learning outcomes
  • Maintain a consistent and engaging classroom environment
  • Collaborate with instructional teams to refine program delivery
  • Support students in achieving CompTIA Security+ and other relevant certifications
  • Incorporate industry best practices into daily lessons
  • Monitor student engagement and adjust teaching methods as needed
  • Lead discussions on network security, risk management, and threat analysis
  • Guide learners through incident response and security operations
  • Encourage professional development and career readiness
  • Track attendance, completion rates, and academic performance
  • Connect students with job placement resources and industry partners
  • Participate in ongoing training for teaching methodologies
  • Ensure curriculum meets accreditation and compliance standards
  • Foster an inclusive learning space for adult learners from varied backgrounds
  • Use learning management systems to distribute content and collect work
  • Prepare students for technical interviews and workforce entry
  • Integrate ethical hacking and defensive security techniques into lessons
