SuperPlane is hiring a Technical Content Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Build and publish technical content that demonstrates how SuperPlane fits into real DevOps and Platform Engineering workflows.
  • Use case development: Work with the product team to identify workflows that teams care about.
  • Build working demos: pipelines, integrations, configurations.
  • Technical writing: Turn use cases into blog posts, tutorials, how-to guides, and documentation.
  • Distribution: Get content seen by publishing on the blog, cross-posting where relevant, sharing on Reddit, Hacker News, DevOps Slack groups, and social media.

Requirements

  • DevOps or platform engineering background with experience managing deployments, writing CI pipelines, and using tools like Terraform or Kubernetes.
  • Ability to write working code and include real, runnable examples in tutorials.
  • Ability to spin up a staging environment, write a Lambda function, or put together a working pipeline independently.
  • Clear and concise writing skills with prior publication of technical content.
  • Ability to explain complex systems without dumbing them down.
  • Product intuition: ability to explore a tool and identify what's possible, thinking in workflows and use cases.
  • Self-directed: able to find the next interesting thing to write about without being told.
  • Daily use of AI tools including coding agents, LLMs for drafting and review, and AI-assisted prototyping.
  • Comfort working async in a distributed team.
