Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to technical regulations in Italy, including support for licensing, renewals, audits, platform certifications, system integrations, message protocols, server connectivity, and continuous compliance obligations.
- Conduct technical compliance gap analyses to guide teams in implementing compliant technical products and solutions.
- Interpret technical directives from ADM and Sogei, converting them into executable internal procedures and controls, and coordinate timely implementation with internal teams.
- Assess and monitor technical compliance risks, propose mitigation measures, track risk indicators, identify gaps, suggest compliant solutions, and lead their deployment.
- Manage ISO certification requirements for the Italian market by working with teams responsible for certification processes and standards.
- Work with Product, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to integrate compliance into system architecture and delivery, ensuring cross-functional alignment and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate closely with the Italian Managing Director and Technical Director to align on regulatory strategy, priorities, and execution.
- Implement instructions from the Head of Legal & Compliance (Italy) and General Counsel accurately, maintaining regular communication with leadership and escalating critical risks promptly.
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, consultants, and regulators such as ADM and Sogei, ensuring timely responses and submissions of technical reports.
