Salesforce is looking for a Technical Architect (Pre-Sales) at all levels to act as a customer-facing enterprise domain expert. This role uses broad technical skills, industry knowledge, and business acumen to develop Salesforce value propositions aligned to customer business strategies on digital transformation and cloud adoption.
What You'll Do
- Support sales teams in developing Salesforce value propositions aligned to customers’ business strategies on digital transformation and cloud adoption.
- Determine which Salesforce and third party technologies to leverage in customer driven architectures.
- Lead key discussions and considerations around change programs from both a business and technical perspective.
- Help sales teams develop specific, repeatable propositions and go to market strategies.
- Participate in the delivery of solution best practices, reference architectures, educational sessions and industry summits.

- Deep knowledge of enterprise software applications and their delivery.
- Some coding experience and willingness to work with code (e.g., Apex, Node, Go, Java, Python).

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, Data Science, other STEM degrees or equivalent work experience. Graduate study a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience as an architect, solution engineer, IT consultant or developer in a customer facing role providing differentiated software technology solutions.
- Experience working hands-on to build, implement, administrate, or maintain enterprise software (e.g., software engineer, implementation architect).
- Understanding of risk mitigation, compliance and security.
- Experience with design thinking, persona-based discovery or other innovation techniques.
- Proven experience in a specific field, vertical or market segment.
- Knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Salesforce Certifications and/or Trailhead Superbadges.

- Compensation: For New York-based roles: $158,200 to $247,730. For California-based roles: $158,200 to $247,730. For Illinois-based roles: $143,850 to $247,730.
