Responsibilities
- Demonstrated understanding of Kubernetes, including deployment strategies, environment isolation, and managing configuration and secrets.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Crossplane, and configuration management systems like Ansible when required.
- Familiarity with GitOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery workflows, including automated releases and environment progression; knowledge of Argo CD is beneficial.
- Knowledge of observability practices covering logs, metrics, and traces, including dashboard creation and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Loki.
- Preparedness in backup and recovery procedures for platform elements to ensure business continuity.
- Working knowledge of federated identity and access management, including OIDC and OAuth2 protocols, identity provider integration, and attribute or role translation.
- Understanding of mutual TLS authentication, certificate lifecycle management, and use of credentials issued by governance authorities.
- Foundational knowledge of security architecture, including principle of least privilege, layered defense, key management, and secure communication design.
- Grasp of network security fundamentals such as network segmentation, firewalls, and VPNs to enable secure data exchange.
- Ability to develop comprehensive architecture models for projects, covering context, functional, logical, component, integration, and deployment perspectives.
- Development of integration specifications involving identity federation, policy frameworks, connector setups, catalog integration, and interface agreements.
- Creation of standardized configurations and templates, including IAM patterns, policy blueprints, validation rules, and onboarding documentation.
- Development of operational runbooks including monitoring setups, alerting logic, log management strategy, and checklists for operational readiness.
