About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on technical leader to guide development of core web features and Chrome extensions, ensuring scalable design and high-performance delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of web-based product features
- Own technical architecture for core web applications
- Guide development of Chrome extensions with a focus on usability and performance
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define roadmap priorities
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in code quality and system design
- Drive testing, reliability, and monitoring standards across web platforms
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve product capabilities
- Ensure alignment between engineering efforts and business goals
- Lead sprint planning, technical reviews, and backlog refinement
- Improve cross-team collaboration within the engineering organization
- Oversee deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes for web services
- Troubleshoot complex front-end and back-end issues
- Champion accessibility and responsive design principles
- Maintain documentation for systems and development workflows
- Support incident response and post-mortem analysis for production issues
Nice to Have
- Experience with React or similar UI libraries
- Knowledge of WebExtensions API across browsers
- Familiarity with security best practices for browser extensions
- Experience with observability tools and logging systems
- Background in accessibility standards such as WCAG
- Exposure to machine learning or voice technology products
- Open-source contributions in web development space
