About the Role
Guide technical direction and execution for web-based core products and browser extensions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and alignment with product goals.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement architecture for web applications and Chrome extensions
- Lead cross-functional teams in building scalable, maintainable codebases
- Set technical standards and best practices across frontend systems
- Collaborate with product managers to shape roadmap priorities
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews and system design
- Mentor engineers and support career growth within the team
- Ensure performance, reliability, and security of web platforms
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks
- Troubleshoot complex issues across frontend and backend systems
- Own end-to-end delivery of key product features
- Work closely with design and UX to deliver intuitive interfaces
- Improve development workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor application health and optimize user experience
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis
- Balance innovation with technical debt management
- Support integration with third-party services and APIs
- Ensure compliance with web standards and accessibility guidelines
- Drive adoption of testing frameworks and automation
- Collaborate on SEO and performance optimization strategies
- Represent engineering in executive and stakeholder discussions
