About the Role
Lead the design and implementation of scalable AI solutions with a focus on large language models and generative technologies while mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of LLM-powered applications
- Guide research efforts in generative AI techniques and model optimization
- Collaborate with data scientists to refine training pipelines
- Oversee deployment of AI models into production environments
- Mentor engineering team members on best practices in machine learning
- Evaluate emerging AI frameworks and tools for integration
- Ensure model reliability, scalability, and performance
- Drive technical decisions across the AI development lifecycle
- Work closely with product teams to align AI capabilities with user needs
- Establish standards for code quality and system design
- Lead debugging and troubleshooting of complex AI systems
- Promote reproducibility and documentation in AI workflows
- Manage technical debt in machine learning codebases
- Support the integration of feedback loops for model improvement
- Champion ethical AI practices and bias mitigation
- Coordinate with security teams to ensure data compliance
- Optimize inference speed and resource efficiency
- Define metrics for model performance and impact
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across technical teams
- Contribute to roadmap planning for AI product features
Nice to Have
- PhD or advanced degree in AI, computer science, or related area
- Published work in NLP or generative modeling
- Experience with large-scale model training
