About the Role
Oversee daily operations of the Fusion Center during evening hours, coordinating incident response, supporting field teams, and maintaining situational awareness across a networked transportation system.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a team handling real-time operational monitoring
- Ensure timely response to incidents and service disruptions
- Coordinate communication between field teams and central operations
- Maintain continuous situational awareness across service areas
- Lead shift changeovers with clear handoffs and updates
- Monitor system performance and identify emerging issues
- Support development of operational protocols and escalation procedures
- Train team members on tools, workflows, and safety standards
- Document events and actions in operational logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident resolution
- Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback
- Promote a culture of accountability and operational excellence
- Respond to urgent situations with clear decision-making
- Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards
- Manage workload distribution during high-pressure periods
- Identify opportunities to improve response efficiency
- Escalate critical issues to senior stakeholders promptly
