Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the technical roadmap for the organization's data infrastructure using Snowflake, Databricks, and Airflow.
- Guarantee the platform can scale efficiently and operate reliably while enabling fast model deployment across international teams.
- Set and uphold strict standards for code quality, continuous integration and delivery, Infrastructure-as-Code, and test automation across all data disciplines.
- Act as the main point of contact between data engineering, data science, and game development teams to align platform capabilities with business needs.
- Lead and develop a team of around seven technical specialists.
- Promote a culture of ownership, professional development, and technical advancement.
- Ensure the stability and correctness of data throughout its entire lifecycle.
- Direct responses to major system failures, conduct root cause analyses, and implement long-term fixes.
- Manage cloud spending across AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks by optimizing performance and cost efficiency.
