Responsibilities
- Examine and assess student learning logs, delivering prompt and constructive feedback to aid student advancement
- Offer weekly accountability and encouragement to students
- Create and distribute monthly progress reports to inform about student achievements
- Engage with students in real-time through one-on-one, small-group, or large-group sessions
- Guide and instruct students enrolled in designated courses
- Develop engaging educational materials, activities, or learning experiences
- Adjust resources and assistance to meet the unique needs of each student
- Recognize students who are at risk and coordinate appropriate intervention measures
- Communicate with parents to offer guidance and support
- Attend IEP meetings when necessary and work with relevant stakeholders
- Work together with fellow teachers to exchange expertise and support students across the program
- Carry out additional grading and instructional duties as needed
- Mentor a core group of assigned students through ongoing guidance and learning log tasks, while also taking on extra assignments across the program based on team and student requirements
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, team-focused environment dedicated to student success
