Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to enhance US tax efficiency through incentives, credits, elections, and strategic planning options.
  • Oversee external US tax service providers, ensuring high-quality outputs, well-defined scopes, and seamless collaboration with internal departments.
  • Lead end-to-end US tax compliance processes, including consolidated federal returns and all jurisdiction-specific obligations.
  • Develop forward-looking analyses of the US tax position, identifying potential risks and anticipated shifts.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the organization’s global tax framework, pinpoint inefficiencies, reduce unintended tax exposure, and recommend structural enhancements.
  • Spearhead international tax planning efforts, including cross-border structuring, transfer pricing implications, and strategies for profit repatriation.
  • Monitor evolving tax regulations globally, particularly in the US and key international markets, and translate changes into actionable insights and risk mitigation steps.
  • Provide timely and practical tax advice during market expansion initiatives to influence entity structuring and ensure compliance integration.
  • Collaborate closely with control functions and local market teams during launch phases to align tax operations with compliance, scalability, and strategic goals.
  • Analyze tax consequences of new product offerings, define compliance requirements, assess business impact, and recommend necessary operational or structural adjustments.
