Responsibilities
- Perform preparatory tasks such as washing, chopping, and blending ingredients, while assisting in cooking processes and ensuring consistent food quality.
- Simultaneously prepare multiple dishes and conduct regular checks for proper doneness, flavor, and visual appeal.
- Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP protocols.
- Manage inventory by planning daily operations and placing orders for food and supplies as needed.
- Receive incoming stock, verify accuracy, and store items properly according to guidelines.
- Monitor expiration dates and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for all stored products.
- Carry out cleaning duties including maintaining the workspace, sanitizing kitchen tools, and disposing of waste.
- Identify operational issues or equipment problems and resolve minor faults independently when possible.
- Offer technical direction and support to junior kitchen staff.
- Suggest improvements and contribute ideas for developing new recipes and updating the restaurant’s menu.

Compensation
