Requirements
- Experience training or mentoring law enforcement actors or institutions internationally
- Experience delivering US Government-funded programmes
- Confidence working with diverse, multi-national teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
- Willingness to undertake multi-week or extended field deployments
- Technical specialisation in either law enforcement or prosecutions
- Experience working with US Government and international security-sector stakeholders
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Law Enforcement: Early warning mechanisms within police institutions, Community engagement and policing approaches, Community-based information analysis, Operational planning and coordination support, Extremism prevention training, Information-sharing platforms, Digital forensics, Countering the financing of terrorism, Cryptocurrency and virtual asset investigations, Digital evidence and open-source intelligence (OSINT); Prosecutions: Terrorism-related prosecutions, Terrorist financing or national security casework, Investigation planning and legal coordination processes
- Mentoring or programme experience is required, preferably within US Government-funded programmes
- Experience delivering training and mentoring using case-based exercises
- Experience developing SOPs, operational procedures or reporting frameworks
- Experience working in fragile and conflict-affected environments, including Central Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa
- Understanding of grant compliance requirements, including equipment management
- Strong IT skills, particularly across Microsoft 365 applications
Nice to Have
- Terrorist financing case experience
- Current bar admission, preferably including US legal experience
- Language capability in one or more of the following: Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Tajik, Uzbek
