About the Role
The Talent Engagement Specialist will drive participant success by delivering coaching, monitoring progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment. The role ensures learners remain motivated and on track to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Responsibilities
- Guide participants through their learning journey with regular check-ins and personalized support
- Deliver one-on-one coaching sessions to address challenges and set development goals
- Monitor learner progress and intervene when performance or engagement drops
- Communicate key updates, deadlines, and resources to ensure program adherence
- Build strong relationships with participants to foster trust and accountability
- Identify and share feedback from learners to improve program delivery
- Collaborate with instructional teams to align support with curriculum milestones
- Support participants in defining career objectives and action plans
- Facilitate group engagement activities to strengthen peer connections
- Track engagement metrics and report on participant satisfaction and retention
- Respond promptly to participant inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and personal responsibility
- Encourage completion of program requirements and milestones
- Use data to identify at-risk individuals and implement support strategies
- Maintain accurate records of all participant interactions and progress notes
Nice to Have
- Certification in coaching or career development
- Experience with CRM or participant engagement platforms
- Knowledge of workforce readiness programs in Africa
- Fluency in additional African languages
- Background in behavioral science or motivational interviewing
