About the Role
This role is responsible for sourcing, engaging, and closing skilled engineering candidates in alignment with technical hiring needs. The specialist will partner closely with engineering leaders and recruiters to refine hiring strategies and improve time-to-fill metrics.
Responsibilities
- Identify and attract qualified software engineers and technical roles
- Build pipelines of potential candidates using proactive sourcing methods
- Engage passive candidates through direct outreach and networking
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand team requirements
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities in the ATS
- Improve diversity in technical hiring through inclusive sourcing
- Assist in refining job descriptions to reflect role needs accurately
- Support candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
- Track key hiring metrics and report on recruitment progress
- Represent the company at tech events and networking forums
- Stay current on engineering talent market trends
- Develop sourcing strategies tailored to niche technical roles
- Evaluate sourcing effectiveness and adjust approaches as needed
- Partner with HR and recruiting teams to streamline processes
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
