Responsibilities
- Serve as the highest-level responder for critical technical outages and intricate system issues
- Diagnose and resolve advanced problems in server, cloud, network, and endpoint systems
- Conduct root cause investigations and maintain accurate, detailed technical records
- Ensure timely resolution of high-priority incidents in alignment with service level agreements
- Design, implement, and support Windows Server environments ranging from version 2016 to 2025
- Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including hybrid identity configurations
- Operate and maintain VMware and Hyper-V virtualization infrastructures
- Oversee system updates, patching schedules, and lifecycle planning
- Lead migration initiatives for Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
- Administer Azure resources such as virtual machines, storage, networking components, and load balancers
- Maintain security and compliance configurations within Microsoft 365 E5
- Support networking infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and LAN/WAN systems
- Manage WatchGuard firewall solutions and apply industry-standard security protocols
- Enhance system security using multi-factor authentication, Conditional Access policies, and endpoint protection tools
- Deliver technical projects on time and to specification
- Provide guidance to junior staff and foster teamwork across departments
