Responsibilities
- Design and deploy real-time automation and data solutions for industrial systems.
- Develop comprehensive system architectures covering control logic, SCADA/HMI interfaces, network infrastructure, MES integration, data pipelines, and safety protocols.
- Program, debug, diagnose, and validate control systems across multiple vendor platforms.
- Execute hands-on development of PLCs and PACs, design SCADA and HMI interfaces, and integrate systems.
- Formulate strategies and resolve complex automation challenges through advanced analysis.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and software platforms.
- Develop technical approaches during the early design stages of project lifecycles.
- Produce detailed documentation such as engineering notes, proposals, specifications, traceability records, factory and site acceptance test procedures, change logs, and case studies.
- Evaluate technical documents and convert system requirements into executable engineering tasks.
- Install and commission new systems at customer locations while identifying optimization opportunities.
- Diagnose and resolve operational issues during system deployment and live operation.
- Review SCADA displays, PLC code, and design outputs created by remote engineers.
- Serve as a professional representative in enterprise client settings.
- Engage with stakeholders to define project needs and align goals.
- Explain technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams across different time zones.
- Guide junior engineers and share knowledge within the engineering group.
- Balance and manage priorities across 5 to 10 concurrent projects.
