Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments, including virtual machine lifecycle, templates, clusters, high availability, and distributed resource scheduling.
- Support Windows Server systems, covering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, file and print services, and WSUS.
- Administer Linux platforms including RHEL, Ubuntu, and CentOS with emphasis on security hardening, patching, and automation.
- Perform advanced (L3) troubleshooting for operating system, virtualization, and performance-related issues.
- Enforce patch management, configuration standards, and compliance baselines across systems.
- Monitor system capacity, resource usage, and performance to ensure optimal availability and responsiveness.
- Support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services including compute, storage, networking, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) projects, covering IAM roles, virtual machines, and network components.
- Operate Microsoft Azure services such as virtual machines, storage, virtual networks, and monitoring tools.
- Implement and maintain hybrid connectivity using technologies like VPN, ExpressRoute, and interconnects.
- Assist in moving workloads between on-premises data centers and public cloud environments.
- Track and optimize cloud resource consumption and cost across multiple cloud providers.
- Administer Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for user lifecycle management, single sign-on, and conditional access policies.
- Synchronize on-premises Active Directory with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for hybrid identity support.
- Handle group policies, multi-factor authentication, access controls, and application integrations.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving authentication, federation, and directory synchronization.
- Support replication, snapshot operations, and failover testing for mission-critical systems.
