Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and validate statistical and actuarial models for commercial pricing and portfolio evaluation using Python.
- Lead and grow a team of actuarial specialists, actively contributing to development while expanding modeling, analytics, and advisory capacity across the organization.
- Develop modular analytics tools that convert complex modeling results into clear, executive-level reports and client-facing insights.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models on secure, governed platforms, managing the full lifecycle from development to production.
- Oversee and guide onshore and offshore vendor teams, ensuring technical accuracy, domain alignment, and timely delivery.
- Work alongside solutions architects to influence system design decisions impacting actuarial outputs for clients.
- Partner with business leaders and client executives to integrate analytics into underwriting and renewal processes, iterating based on feedback.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation, model validation, and compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Help shape the long-term analytics strategy by identifying new opportunities for data-driven decision-making across business segments.
