About the Role
The Supply Chain Analyst contributes to data analysis and modeling efforts that inform energy strategy, ensuring alignment with Department of Energy objectives across multiple energy sectors and policy priorities.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes supply chain information to identify potential risks and strategic opportunities in energy resource logistics.
- Collaborates with Data Analysis Support initiatives to evaluate critical mineral supply chains and materials, supporting energy efficiency goals aligned with market trends and policy directives.
- Conducts public comment reviews and delivers data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting, and report creation, along with developing data tracking systems and contributing to workforce policy assessments and convenings.
- Provides technical consulting in energy market economics and regulatory analysis for the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP).
- Supports mission-critical objectives related to renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear power, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies.
- Performs advanced data aggregation, analysis, and visualization to support the development of informed energy policies and strategic decision-making.
