Oak View Group was looking for a Supplier Diversity & Risk Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and refinement of the supplier risk management framework, covering risk categories, supplier segmentation, evaluation frequency, and escalation protocols.
  • Set organization-wide standards for supplier due diligence, continuous monitoring, and resolution of identified issues.
  • Collaborate with procurement and other functional teams to align supplier risk practices with overall enterprise risk policies.
  • Create standardized procedures and guidance for procurement teams to integrate risk criteria into RFPs, onboarding, and contract renewals.
  • Conduct assessments of current capabilities and drive ongoing improvements in supplier risk maturity.
  • Manage the Center of Excellence for supplier diversity, including strategy, governance, and performance measurement.
  • Define methodologies for identifying, categorizing, and tracking diverse suppliers across enterprise systems.
  • Work with category leaders to integrate diversity objectives into sourcing strategies and procurement pipelines.
  • Design programs to build capacity and capabilities among diverse suppliers in collaboration with sourcing and business units.
  • Ensure supplier risk and diversity efforts support broader ESG, sustainability, and DEI goals.
  • Develop integrated processes for managing supplier risk and diversity throughout the supplier lifecycle.
  • Partner with senior procurement leadership to evaluate, deploy, and enhance third-party risk and supplier management technologies.
  • Maintain accurate data and consistent reporting across internal systems and supplier platforms.
  • Standardize key performance indicators, dashboards, and reporting formats for leadership review and CSR disclosures.
  • Establish enterprise-level metrics for supplier risk exposure, mitigation outcomes, and diversity program impact.
  • Produce executive-level reports for procurement and CSR stakeholders.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations based on risk trends, performance indicators, and capability gaps.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and thought leader within the procurement excellence function.
  • Develop training materials, playbooks, and communications to promote adoption of risk and diversity standards.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings focused on supplier risk trends and diversity outcomes.
  • Support change management during the rollout of new policies, tools, and processes.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the growth and evolution of the program.
