About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and review of substation design documentation
- Perform engineering calculations for protection, control, and power systems
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards
- Coordinate with project managers and field teams on implementation
- Oversee the integration of relay protection and automation systems
- Conduct site assessments and support construction phase activities
- Review single-line diagrams and schematics for accuracy
- Manage engineering tasks within schedule and budget constraints
- Support commissioning and testing of substation equipment
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
- Prepare specifications for switchgear, transformers, and relays
- Evaluate existing systems for upgrades or retrofits
- Collaborate with clients to define project requirements
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols in design and execution
- Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and operation
- Maintain documentation for engineering changes and approvals
- Interface with regulatory agencies as needed
- Utilize engineering software for modeling and simulation
- Support quality assurance and design validation processes
- Participate in design reviews and risk assessments
